Japan, Gifu - highest point

1. Kat's visit (Arashiyama, Kyoto, Tojinbo)
2. Spring & Nancy's visit (Ryoanji, Uji, Byodoin, Fushimi Inari) NEW! start here
3. Kaoru & Toshiyuki kino (Shirakawa, a village with old-fashioned thatched roof houses.) NEW! start here

Byodoin was one of my top "must see" places. I finally made it there. ^^

you're back! I'm going browse the photos slowly. Your thailand batch was awesome btw ;) while looking through it I realised that I visited a lot of those places while I was there too!

You should! Not just when you're on vacation but everywhere! You never know when your family or friends will do something silly and classic, worth taking a picture of. ;D

oooh, gorgeous as always! I love the shots of buildings, the details, your close ups on the "critters" (soooo cute, do you use your macro for those?), the colours, everything! thanks for sharing them!

I do use the macro. Actually I generally have it on all the time. It adjusts just fine to distant shots, so I never think about turning it off.
